Woah.. came back super late from work today.. reached home after 12am lor.. althou I knocked off at 9.30pm, cause I went interacting with my colleagues intead. They are quite a bunch of funny people, very different from my colleagues in school. For one, quite a few are smokers. I dun think I have any friends outside of NS who are smokers, so its quite an interesting change. But nonetheless they are still a bunch of nice chaps.

Something funny happened just now too. My boss, who is some Jap guy, was trying to figure out how to use his new Nokia N95. He ended up so frustrated that he threw his N95 on the floor!! My goodness!! 1000 bucks thrown just liddat. And the floor is not even carpeted! So another worker said if he din want, he could sell her for 300 bucks, and he said okie!! Just liddat!

I must be a boss in future.

OMG!! Episode 9 and 10 of Lovely Complex is out! I was actually very tired and was about to go to bed when I saw the good news. I am currently in such a good mood that nothing can depress me!

Anyway, I finally survived the first day of work!! A lot a lot of things for me to do. I have to clear plates, take orders, refill water, dry the forks and spoons, serve dishes, pack tissues and cutleries etc. Time passed so slowly.

At least they serve us meals after that. Though it's leftovers. But it's still 16 bucks (triple plus) worth of food. Like I've said, half my pay comes from the food. If not it's totally unjustifiable to be paid a measily $5 per hr for all I've done.

At least I get better uniform than Ajisen restaurant.

Woah-ow!! Bought a lot of things today. Went out to shop after tuition and got myself a pair of levis jeans, a pair of lawman khaki trousers and a black zara cardigan. Heheh, I am so gg to look my part as a future upcoming NUS bizader!

Anyway, I got hired as a waiter in this really quaint authentic French-Japanese restaurant called Ma Maison. It's at Bugis Junction, so must come and support me!! Its a little more pricy than usual though. Dinner costs about 20 odd for a main and a drink or side if I remembered correctly, but the set lunch is affordable, only 15 bucks or so. I will be officially starting work on Mon next week and although I get paid very little, I am actually quite looking forward to it. Heheh, can't wait!

Hah.. nothing to do again, so shall update a little here. I have completed my teaching stint at NJC, which, imo, was the highest point of my lack-lustre career life. I also went back to NCHS to teach during the 10th week, cause NJ's term ended in week 9. Basically nothing to do there, cause everyone was already in holiday mood. Felt quite bad though, cause my class was caught eating sweets in class by the discipline committee when I was in class, and worse still, I was eating with them. Din noe where to hide my face after that.

Went to laser my nose on the last day of school, cause I have always felt that my nose was patchy and uneven. It was a terrible experience, having endured 6 anaesthetic jabs ON MY NOSE and a whole lot of lasering. Some parts of my nose weren't even numb yet, so the lasering part hurt. A lot. And I could smell a chau-ta smoky smell, which incidentally, came from my nose being burnt.

I have this really bad bodily reaction, which is I laugh a lot when I am in pain. And that was what I did during the minor surgery. I laughed out really loud when the pain was too intense. I think the doctor was stunned by me. Heheh.

Anyway, I was left with a rather bloodied nose, which kinda healed quite badly. So now I have an uneven surfaced nose, with a lot of raw pink skin. Hope it heals soon. Very soon. More like immediate.

Since I couldn't go out after the surgery, I was stuck at home for more than a week. I was totally totally totally bored. It was just games, anime, meals, sleep and the cycle restarts all over again. It may sound quite fun to most, but try doing the same stuff over and over again every single day. SUPER SUPER BORING. How I wish I could go back and work then.

Granado Espada (the latest game I am playing) is starting to irritate me, and I have watched a lot of animes. So dun really noe what to do now.

Here's what I have watched. In a week.

Bleach

Claymore

La Corda d'Oro

Lovely Complex

Harukanaru Toki No Nakade Hachiyosho

Saiunkoku Monogatari

Bokura Ga Ita

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge

And a whole lot of other misc shows.

That's how bored I am.

Anyway, I really enjoyed some of the shows. Gonna list them here.

Harukanaru Toki No Nakade Hachiyosho

It's about a high school girl and 2 male friends who were sucked into an ancient kingdom. The girl later found out that she was the Priestess of Ryuujin, and was the only person that could conjure the four gods protecting the country to defeat the demon lord. Along with her 8 protectors (2 were her friends that travelled back in time with her), she had to find the 4 gods and save the kingdom. I loved the entire series. The show's really touching and the music is really good. Loads of fighting and confrontations between demons and the Hachiyou (protectors). Great ending too!!

La Corda d'Oro

There's a school where students are separated into the general education stream and the music stream. Naturally, the music stream people looked down on the general-ed students (their uniforms are different so they know). 6 members were chosen for a very important intra-school music competition. Somehow a girl from the gen-ed stream got in, and with the help of a magical violin, she survives her way thru the series of competition. This show is really cool, cause the whole setting is really realistic. It's the first time where the scores are really real and follows the music. Even when the people are playing the violin, the bow movements are actually synchronised with the music, and the fingering of the clarinet and trumpet are fairly accurate. Even in real life shows this will never happen, so I am really impressed. The starting theme is really cool too!!

Lovely Complex

There's this girl, who is always bickering with the guy in class. Somehow the girl kinda fell in love with the guy (who doesn't know), but they are rather mismatched, cause the guy is 16cm shorter than the girl. Although this is a shoujo anime, I really loved it. The setting is really realistic, and I liked that the show's funny without resorting to lame tricks. It gets rather sad towards the latter episodes, and I was so upset I couldn't go out of my house. IMO I think it's the best anime I have ever watched. Really good!!

Claymore

Its about a group of half-monster-half-women in the journey to kill demons. Exciting exciting. Loads of fighting again. Nothing comical inside (unlike Bleach), all dark and gloomy. But great nonetheless!!
