Ah so irritated!! Just now I was waiting for my Night Rider at Dhoby Ghaut and there was this Trans Island bus that came. The irritating bus flashed Selamat Hari Raya and dunno wad on the screen instead of the number and destination. And just as it went pass me suddenly the word SENGKANG appeared so I ran to flag the bus.

AND the bus REFUSED to stop for ME!

ME!

And so I decided to run to the next bus stop to catch that bus. And I managed to outrun the bus to the next bus stop, so I flagged the bus again.

AND the bus REFUSED to stop for ME!

AGAIN!

Made me feel like a fool lah. Carrying so many bags ard and running like some lunatic.

I hate chasing after buses!

In the end I had to wait for close to half an hour for the next bus. And my headphones were spoilt lah. I was listening to 'Get High' on the headphones and sometimes I could hear on both sides, sometimes I could only hear on the left side, sometimes on the right, but mostly on none of the sides. Damn shitty lah, to think I wasted 80 bucks on this disgusting headphones like 4 mths back.

Damn high.

I think there is something wrong with my cable tv. I suddenly have like 20 more different channels on top of my subscribed ones... lets hope it stays this way!!
Had a super fulfilling day today.. started off the day by going to NUS with Jin Ping in the morning for the early sem talk. Was supposed to wake up at 745am, but in the end woke up at 855am... ended up rushing to change and rushing out of my home, with disastrous results

1. Forgot to bring out my house keys and handphone.
2. Wasted $11 on cab fares.

Luckily in the end Jin Ping din come on time too, so managed to meet up with him... met like super many people over at the NUS auditorium. Saw Daniel, Chee min, Liang Yuan, a lot a lot of 40 SAR people, Chee Tek etc.. anyway, learnt a lot during the talk.. think I might want to go for the special term alr!! Super excited!!

After the talk, managed to hitch a ride from Liang Yuan's merz.. he is damn lucky lah.. have a Merz to drive.. summore he doesn't have to pay a single cent for the patrol.. anyway, took a lift all the way to Bishan with JP, den brought him over to Cat High for a tour.. think JP seemed impressed with my school... of course he would.. its so cool to be a Cat High student.. just look at me!

After that went for disgusting lesson. Got tormented terribly again. Almost couldn't survive thru.

Well well well, after that went to meet my NJ clique!! Haven seen them for like months! Hahah.. we went down to Marina Square and Suntec City to walk around. Can't even rmb where we walked. Our clique is funny in this way. We never ever enter the shops. Hahah, almost had nothing to share with Wen Dtin, cause apparently, she comes to my blog very often to check out on me, so she knows everything that happened to me. Bad bad Wen Dtin ah.. know my everything den appear so mysterious in front of me.

After that Wen Dtin had to go off first, leaving behind me, SC and WK at Orchard. We managed to do some quick shopping over at Taka, den went over to Seoul Garden for dinner. It was super not worth it. Think I ate barely half of wad I spent. Terrible. But there was one malay employee that caught my attention. When she was helping to change the hot plate, I noticed that she had a lot of burnt marks on her forearms.. and yet she looked so cheerful and happy to serve the customers. I felt a momentary sympathy for her. She was so young and she already had to come and work undersuch harsh environment. And yet she had to remain cheerful and happy ard people. I felt so touched that I almost wanted to give her a hundred bucks to buy some nice moisturiser for her to apply on her arms. But of course, my practical side still won over my angelic side, and my money was saved. Still, I wanted to take a picture with her, but in the end I was too hum to do it as well. Well, I hope she remains cheery and enthusiastic. Hello nice malay girl, you are reading this, which I assume not, cause you dun even noe who I am, I wish you all the best okie??

We were so full after the dinner that we decided to go over to Vivo instead for a short walk. In the end it turned out to be a really fun play-a-fool cum phototaking session.. we did so many foolish stuff there, like jump around and take silly photos... luckily there weren't many ppl ard to watch us..

I am really glad I could make it for the clique outing.. today just reminded me why the group of us are one clique in the first place. Although we may have our differences at times, but essentially we are still close frens and I really treasured the friendship that we all share. Must meet up more next time okie??

Finally have some free time to blog for today.. had yet another exhausting but fun day. This time with Wenjie!! Hahah.. had gym in the early afternoon with CJ den met up with Wenjie.

After we met up, we went (more like rushed actually) over to Esplanade Concert Hall to catch the Philharmonic Youth Winds.. haven stepped into the concert hall for a long long time already.. think the last time was during end of JC 1 where I performed there with the other combined bands for Bandfest. That was like so long ago already... the feeling inside the concert hall was great.. but the Phil Youth Winds weren't that impressive to me. Firstly, the instrumentation wasn't complete. Basic instruments like oboe and bass clarinet were not present at all. The choice of pieces were terrible. Most of them were selections, where many different songs were put into one piece. Terrible!! Not a serious piece inside at all. Althou its made for the masses, at least they could have played something more layered, not straightforward, boring selection pieces. It was a rather boring concert I must say, quite disappointing. Babies were crying everywhere. No one wanted encore. And the conductor still encored himself. But at least it wasn't everything bad - the emcee was marvellous!! She spoke really terrific English and Chinese! Really professional!

After that went for lunch with Wenjie at Imperial Kitchen. Wonderful lunch!! Loved the lamian!! And I ordered these balls with red bean paste. 2 Thumbs up!! The skin was crispy and thick, unlike the camp uncle's balls, which were more nua nua and chewy. The red bean balls at Imperial Kitchen are really good, must try!

After lunch, the 2 of us went back to Esplanade again! This time round we went over to the Esplanade library where we booked a room to watch Riverdance and Lord of the Dance and Cirque du Soleil! Wow, it was so cool! The room was so cosy and the sound system (Bose) was terrific, and the flat screen tv was sharp and the air con was so cold. The 1.5 hrs spent there was so fruitful . Haven watched so much of Michael Flatley for such a long time. Its great to see him dancing so happily and passionately again. But his bad habits of groping his dancer's breasts were still evident. And he thot I din catch him doing so. I have very sharp eyes, you noe.

We finally finished watching Michael at 7.30 and then we left the library to catch all the wonderful performances ard Esplanade. We managed to watch some ppl singing oldies, CO section quartet, a harp cum tai-ji-quan performance, a Chinese Dance performance and a cai deng mi game! And Wenjie even managed to guess a deng mi correct, and won a prize!! Damn smart of him, hahah.

Overall, we spent like more than 6 hours at Esplanade alone.. really wonderful time spent there... and Wenjie liked it too.. think we can go there more often!!

After that we walked down to Clarke Quay where Jelvin joined us over at Mac Liang Court. But it was kinda late alr so in the end Wenjie left first. Jelvin and I den went over to Vivocity again. Managed to reach there at 11.15pm.. only stayed there for a while cause we had to catch the last bus home. He was damn jian lah.. made me take this really slow bus whereas he himself took a super fast one. He managed to reach home at like 12.30am and I only got off the bus at 1am at Hougang Interchange!! When I called him at the interchange, he actually told me that he had finished bathing alr and that he was reading the newspaper.. damn jian lah!! Ren ru qi ming!!

And naturally, I had no bus to take. And I was kinda broke, so in the end I decided to walk home. 8 bus stops. But I made it! Below half an hour summore! Could have been faster, but I was strolling pretty slowly, and singing "Get High" whilst walking, so that took more time.. I repeated Get high like 30 over times on the way home lah.. got kinda irritated by the end I reached home. Think must change disc alr, think wu niang would be a pretty gd choice!

Anyway, I have a query. Can a rice cooker make porridge? I was trying to cook some porridge for supper just now so I put in rice and lots of water. And when it was done, it became rice! So I thot maybe the water wasn't enough, so I added in more water to cover the rice and then when it was done, it still remained as rice! So i put in even more water to completely submerge the rice and when it was done, it still turned out as rice. In the end, I just scooped out the rice and added hot water. Finally got some porridge that I wanted.

Okie, tired alr. Sleeping now!

Super fun day today!! Went out with Ziyi and CJ for the whole day.. come to think of it, haven really been out with the 2 of them for a long long time alr... went to a super lot number of places today.. We went to, in no particular order:

Waterloo Street (to view the Singapore Biennale exhibits)
Sunshine Plaza
Bras Basah Complex
Suntec City
Clarke Quay
Stanford House
Vivocity
and of course, Esplanade

Wow, the weather was super horrible. Lots of haze everywhere; it looked horrible. Heard the PSI was 140, really terrible. I was suffering from a really bad headache all the while I was outside, and I felt so tired and weak, even after having a really full meal at Mac. And I had to walk around the whole Dhoby-Bugis-Cityhall area cause we were like totally lost. We kept on walking in circles cause the 3 of us were like super road idiots, and then everytime we walked past somewhere interesting we would like "Wow, looks fun. Lets go in and take a look" and thus, wasted a lot a lot a lot of time. But nonetheless it was kinda fun lah... hahah

Anyway, we visited Vivocity!! Triple wow!! It looks AA-MA-ZING!! There are like 2 whole level of shops and 7 levels of carparks!! OMG!! And the crowd was so huge, even thou there were so few shops open!! It was really fantastic. The view outside was spectacular, althou I couldn't really see much due to the haze. But it looked really really really grand. And there are fake beaches on the 3rd floor! But I am not too sure whether it was on purpose or not.. it might just be flooding on the floor. But somehow I still think it would become my next fav hangout soon. AAA-MA-ZING!!

And of course, we went to my favouritest place in the world, ESPLANADE!! There were like so many performances there due to the Mid-Autumn Festival. There was the CO concert, a riddle guessing competition and a Chinese Dance performance!! There was this guy who was really engrossed in his own dancing that he din realise that there was a super big split in his pants. His underwear was like totally showing lah!! I would be so embarrassed if I were him.. kudos to his bravery!!

Oh yah, and something really funny happened. CJ was so vulgar today!! Ziyi and CJ were talking about watching Phantom of the Opera together next year when the musical comes to Singapore and so I started to sing the theme song, and got quite engrossed into it. And then when its time for CJ to sing, I gestured to him,

"Sing, Angel of Music, Sing!!"

And he said,

"F*** off lah"
