Woah, finally back in the comfort of my own home!! Hahah.. sounds like I haven't been home for a long long time alr.. but this time different okie?? Cause I just came back from the last last last shoot of my NSF life!! Yay, so happy lah.. not gg to wear long 4 and touch live bullets for a very very very long time from now.. feeling a huge chunk of weight lifted from my shoulder!!

Well anyway, I was actually quite dreading this week, cause there were quite a number of activities going on.. but I have to say that this week has been really fun, esp today (Friday).. had a 5km run in West Coast Park on Tues.. its more like 6km or 7km lah.. so far lor.. almost couldn't finish the run.. but guess wad.. I came in sixth!! OMG OMG OMG.. I was like super duper whooper fast lah!! And I won Jian Hui yet AGAIN!! Second time in a row already.. summore run slower than me still want to give excuses lah..

"I was never a good long distance runner"
"I want to accompany the other runners"
"I just wanted to run leisurely"

Give up lah. Its okie if you are slower, no need for excuses one.

Oh.. and Friday started off really badly.. gotten lotsa shit in camp althou I was at the range.. was actually damn pissed lah.. cause the NSman charging was not really my problem, but I just had to dabble in it and in the end, it became my problem. It really doesn't pay to be helpful and responsible in S1 branch. Its like I am the one pushing the superiors to do work or something.. arn't NSFs the ones that needs pushing instead??? Basically throughout the combat shoot I was like making calls after calls after calls to find out the situation and get the stuff that I need. And cause my phone was down, I had to borrow phones from Jelvin and Jin Ping and waste their phone bills. Thanks so much to the both of you!! Owe you lots for ur help! Summore, I kinda misfired during the combat shoot.. had a shock myself.. luckily the target came out alr, so I wasn't penalised.. but the shock just kinda lasted thru the combat shoot, and in the end think I messed up the entire shoot.. such a bad day..

Well, but by afternoon, things turned for the better. Although I still have the shit work, at least more of the things got settled and I finally had some time to socialise with the rest.. had a really good chat with Alex.. in fact we really managed to share a lot with each other on Firday.. we chatted about our impressions of the people in S1 branch, and I was really kinda surprised about the other sides of the people in my branch that I never knew of!! In fact, after this chat with Alex, I felt like I was really mistaken about some of the ppl in the br.. am gg to look at them in a new light from now..

In addition, I have also found out a lot more about Alex himself.. I did a lot of thinking.. when I do work for others, its often obligatory, and sometimes, I would want to be recognised for my work. However, when Alex does his work, he does it out of sheer love for the people around him. He has never once asked for recognition for his work. He is forever giving and never taking anything in return. This just suddenly flowed into my head when I was having dinner (which by the way was horrible. It was nua(3) nua(3) cabbage with super salty omelette, some wierd chicken piece in spicy sauce and my absolutest hatred - pork cubes with peanuts!! OMG!! Super disgusting lah.. luckily I had 4 sardine curry puffs for tea break..).. I felt so inferior and selfish in comparison!! In fact, I was rather touched when I realised this, cause he has really helped me a lot previously, but I din even help him much in return.. After I left, he even sent me a msg. I was really very touched by his msg, cause I can tell that he was really real and true about wad he wrote inside.. really proud to have him as a fren!!

Thus, I have made a new resolution. I am going to be nice to everyone from now for the next one week, and experience for myself how its like to be giving and selfless. Hope I can keep to my resolution! :)

Woke up super late today.. was supposed to meet up with Jelvin and Wenjie at 0930 this morning for breakfast at Kovan but I overslept!! Only managed to wake up when Jelvin called me at 10am.. in the end had to rush to bathe and brush my teeth and pick my clothes and then rush out of the house.. but I managed to do all those below 10 mites!! Den in the end had to take a cab down so that I would not be too late... wasted my $4.20!!

But luckily I went down, cause it was really fun!! We went over to some food centre opp Heartland Mall for dimsum breakfast.. the food was great!! Hahah.. we had siew mai, har gao, ming xia jiao, paper wrapped chicken, century egg porriage and chee cheong fun.. really satisfying meal! And it felt like we weren't really in Singapore, cause the surroundings were all rather old and nostalgic.. its like having a holiday instead lah!! Took a lot of cute photos as well, will upload next time!!

After that we went over to GB cause Jelvin was supposed to go their for his service.. it was quite funny, cause I could like recognise most of the people there, althou I have never met a single one of them before.. all because of Jelvin lah.. made me stay up till 1 plus am so that I can memorise all their names...

Once Jelvin went for his service, Wenjie and I walked down to Highland Centre to get the famed durian puffs.. it was delicious!! V V nice!! Had a very nice chat with him along the way back to my bus stop.. He is so nice lor.. actually waited with me for my bus even thou his bus stop was very far away.. really super super nice of him.. Thanks Wenjie!!

Argh.. bad bad bad.. Took off today, cause I intended to teach my sis, but in the end she said she wun be coming home early as she wanted to meet up with her teachers first, so in the end I went shopping with Jelvin instead..

It was:

- Lunch at New York New York (Good food and good ambience.. 2 thumbs up!!)
- Shopping at Marina Square (With special mention to Evita Peroni. Really good models there!)
- Relaxation session at Esplanade
- Shopping at Far East
- More shopping at Taka. And we tasted like tens of mooncakes at the bazaar there.
- Even more shopping at Wheelock Place

And finally after a million years, Wen Jie joined us. Actually I din really want to wait till he comes, but I was just too tired to leave the comfy chair at Wheelock Place so in the end I just kinda drifted into a semi-unconscious state until Wen Jie reached.

And then, I decided to go home, but I was dragged all the way to Heeren in the end. Along the way I met two frens, which made me the official winner of the "Friends" Game! Ultimate trashing!! Then we played the "Bomb" game, and Wenjie lost terribly!! Hahah, which made Jelvin and I the masters of the Bomb game!!

After I reached Heeren, I decided to take a bus home. But the two of them had a ridiculous idea to get tee shirts for the 3 of us, and made me go choose with them. So I was dragged along with them. So, I unleashed my hidden skills of power shopping, which is the ability to look thru racks of clothes in the shortest available time, saving us a lot of time. However, the 2 of them were super picky, and after a long long long long (I mean LONG) time, we still could not find one where the 3 of us could buy.

Just as we were giving up hope, we chanced upon 77th street, and there it was, the ultimate shirt that could fit the 3 of us. Damn heng lah, and just nice there were only 3 left! We were like so relieved, cause the other stores only carry like one or two of the same design, but 77t street carried 3 of the same design, and in our size summore! I think its like fate that we had to get the shirt. Next time go out the 3 of us can wear the same shirt for outing!! So exciting!!

After that, I was like so late I took a cab back home. Jelvin and Wen Jie took the cab too, cause they wanted to go to Xin Wang at Heartland for dinner. So that sums up my entire day's programme, tmr is another tiring day again!

Ahah... haven blogged for a long long time!! Managed to find some time today, cause I reached home early! Was despatching some medals today to some officer's place, and he asked me which reservist unit I was from. Do I look like a reservist? And to think that my new boyish looking hair would make me look more youthful...

And anyway, I think I just sprained my jaw!! Ow its so painful I can't even open my mouth properly. I think if I open my mouth wide enough, my lower jaw will just drop off.

So tired now, am supposed to teach my sis GP, but think I really need to sleep awhile first. Super exhausted after yesternight.. chatted with Jelvin until like almost 2am and had to wake up at like 6 plus again.. but it was a v satisfying chat, cause I have finally seen the big picture. Come to think of it, I feel so silly to have deceived myself. I was almost convinced.

Argh.. so tired now.. just reached home only.. went out for the entire day lor.. finally taken the advance theory test already.. was the second person to complete the tests.. wun say the results here, cause I promised Jelvin I would tell him how I fared on Sunday night when he books in.. anyway, I made it down to Orchard to meet CJ and Ziyi.. and I was acutally first to arrive.. hahah.. I am seldom first lah.. and den I actually met Jelvin whilst waiting for them! Wad a coincidence!! Weekend dun wan to see camp ppl in the end still bump into them.. but Jelvin's different, sec school frens rite?

Well after the other 2 arrived, we finally set off to Lido where we had Pepper Lunch for Lunch! Wad a great meal.. hasn't had Pepper Lunch for a long time already.. and I made a very important realisation - the pepper at Pepper Lunch is really good! Must put more next time! After that we went to Sunshine Plaza (somewhere really far, near Paradiz Centre) where we caught the Wanton mee stall (Wenjie you would rmb right? Just told you a couple of days back only) that I had wanted to go ever since I saw it on Channel U. So lucky I saw the Bryan Wong's face on the shop and in the end the 3 of us all went to have post-lunch there.. wow the wanton was really crispy!! And the noodles were very well flavored.. think it was really worth eating..

It was really good, but kinda ex. Singaporeans are so wierd lah. Paying so much to cook by themselves. May as well eat at home.

Basically for the rest of the day we just shopped and crapped ard.. and CJ actually won the "Frens" game lah.. can't believe that he acutally met more frens than us for the first time in history.. total thrashed us man.. but he still lost the "Bomb" game. He always gets bombed by us lah.. so expert at PS2 and Xbox games but still always kena bombed by us.. hahah!!

Took these pics on our way to Suntec City. Orchard Rd was like totally deserted, which was really nice, cause I hate crowds. And the trees were all so nicely decorated that we had to snap pics of them.

When we reached Suntec, we even managed to meet up with SC, SF, WK and their sec school fren! Wad a coincidence lor.. hahah.. we went to play with toys at Toys "R" Us and then got down to Esplanade together..

Esplanade.. my favouritest favouritest place.. we were all kinda tired by the time we reached there so we just sat down and people-watch. There were some graduates taking their graduate shots.. they looked so happy lah.. how I wish I can graduate earlier and take all these shots too.. I was thinking, if I take the 4 years honours course and my sis takes the 3 years bachelor's course (cause she not so smart.. hahah), we can graduate together! Den we can take sibling graduation shots together!! That would be so cool! I was also thinking I could do these series of shots where I do everyday things with my graduation robe, like shopping at NTUC den asking someone to take a pic of me when I am at the cashier, or like taking another pic when I am at the cinema eating popcorn, or when I am waiting for the MRT etc. Super cool right?

Finally finally, the AI ppl left, and Ziyi ps-ed us, leaving CJ and I at Esplanade until HC came. As usual, I listened (and made CJ listen as well) to Jolin's Wu Niang track until he got so bored of it.. seriously, i think its like a super catchy tune and I just saw her MTV. IT RAWKS! Wow, she looked so tribal and she played with balls and strings and water and she still looked so good!

Well anyway, finally finally the 3 of us went over to Marina Square for dinner and then we shopped ard for a little while more before making our way to Bakerzin as promised.

Tasty dinner! I had Grilled Chicken Set, CJ had Curry Yong Tau Foo (damn hot) and HC had Duck Wanton Mee (w/o wantons).

Bad experience: I almost fell on the stairs again (bad karma for insulting too many ppl).

Arh, Bakerzin. Yet another of my favouritest place. It was already quite late when we reached there.. like almost 11pm already.. but still we managed to secure a good seaside table.. the 3 of us just sat there and enjoyed our desserts and relaxed by the sea and crapped and took silly photos.. it was so relaxing I din feel like leaving at all after that.. din even realise how tired I was until the moment I stepped on the night rider.. slept all the way home.. super super super shagged..

And so, that sums up my entire day's trip.. and its like almost 4 already, which means I took like, wad, 2 hours plus to complete this entry.. argh.. so tired already.. later still must go gymming with CJ at Bishan.. argh tired tired tired :)

Wow.. finally its almost time to take my advanced theory test.. think I am sufficiently prepared for it already, since yesterday afternoon I have

1. Swept up all the dirt from a super long drain and a hell-lot of dried leaves for CIP.
2. Fought off an army of super big red ants after I ambushed their hiding place near a big rambutan tree and swept away all the rambutans on the floor.
3. Gone window shopping at PS with Ziyi.
4. Gone window shopping at Hougang Mall (btw, HM is like damn big now lah. Hate to say it, but I think it might be better than Hougang Point already!)
5. Chatted on MSN for more than 3 hours.
6. Watched Goodness Gracious Me on Youtube.
7. Repeated FIR's Wu Xian for 2 hours on my com.
8. Had a super satisfying 9 hours sleep.

And more importantly,

I studied for the advanced theory test for less than an hour.

Great.

I am so going to fail the test.

As what I have always said, its the experience that counts. Just treat it as I have eaten a $6 MacDonald's meal lor.

Oh, its 11am now. And I am late. Wow. Great Day.

Bad bad bad bad bad. Look at the time now! Its like super late already lah! And I've only started (well technically not yet, but I am planning to start after blogging) my revision for tmr's FTT!! I planned to start studying right after CIP today but in the end I was like wad-the-crap, since I am gg to fail anyway, might as well just go shopping for a while. And so, I went to meet Ziyi at PS for dinner at KFC! Haven eaten at KFC for like super long already.. in fact, I haven been out on a Friday for like a gazillion years already.. so surprising lor.. its a school holiday and yet the shopping centre was so empty.. guess all the students are all guai guai studying at home.. even better!! I hate crowds!

Anyway, something very embarrassing happened just now!! I was at Guardians with Ziyi , trying to get my medication but I could not find it off the racks.. so in the end I had to ask the pharmacist where it was, so I was like "Hi, Can I find out if you stock up on Eurax?" den she gave me a blank look and reply "Condom?" in a super loud voice. OMG.. so embarrassing lah!! I am sure everyone heard wad she said. So I immediately replied, "No no I am looking for Eurax, the antipruitic cream".. den she gave me yet another super blur look and asked me to spell.. I guess at that time I got so blurred by her that I actually spelled "D-U-R-E-X" in front of everybody.. Argh!! Screams!! Can't believe I said that lah.. but in the end I still spelt the correct way, which was E-U-R-A-X and finally finally got wad I wanted. I am nv buying from there ever again.

After that terrible incident, we made our way to KFC for dinner and then dessert at Secret Recipe, where I ordered a heavenly Classic Cheese Cake and an Oreo milkshake. The cheese cake was simply delicious, with layers of tasty custardy cream mixed with light cream cheese spread between chocolate sponge layer cakes. Simply delicious! Nothin much can be said about the Oreo milkshake though. It tastes just like.. oreo.
